NAME:  DR. EKONG ITUEN

Dr. Ekong David Ituen was born on 22nd September, 1971 in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
He holds a B.Sc Degree in Accounting and MBA in Accounting from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

A Fellow of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN),
He is also an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria(CITN),
Associate Member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM),
Associate Member off Society for Forensic Accounting and Fraud Prevention(SFAFP), his working experience spans through both private and public sector.

He began his early career with Etop Ikpe & Co. (Chartered Accountants), Lagos.
He work briefly as an Internal Auditor, Lapyet Polaris Nig. Ltd, Lagos.
In 2001, he was appointed Head, Branch Operations, Chi Lted, Lagos.

He Joined Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic in 2002 as a Senior Accountant,
rose to the rank of Chief Accountant by 2012 and served in different capacities.
Appointed Deputy Bursar, 2016. Acting Bursar 2018

He is currently the Bursar, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene.

Dr. Ekong David Ituen is a devoted Christian and happily married with children
